Height of Baba Idol: 5’5″

The temple consists of two parts Main Mandir and Dwarakamayi Mandir. The prime idol is placed in the Main Mandir. In Dwarakamayi baba Mandir, the Dwarakamayi Baba Idol is placed on the ground floor, and on the first floor the Dhyana mandir is located. In dhyana Mandir Datrathreya panchakams consisting of Sri Dattatreya Swamy, Sri Paadavalla Swamy, Sri Nrusimha Saraswathi Swamy, Sri Manikya Prabhu Swamy, Sri Swamy Samardha idols and Dwarakamayi Baba portrait are placed.

In the beginning of 2022, Sai Baba devotees have decided to construct Sainath Maharaj temple. Upon deciding the location where to construct the temple all the devotees have performed “Om Sai Sri Sai jai jai Sai” Bhajan for 12 hours for the selected land sanctification on 21-April-2002 ( On Sri RamaNavami day).
The devotees have decided to go invite Poojyasri Samardha Sadguru Darga Swamy ji and Poojyasri Darga Mataji to the temple foundation, who was unable to attend initially due to prior engagement. Poojyasri Samardha Sadguru Darga Swamy ji and Poojyasri Darga Mataji however sent the devotees back with blessings to do the temple foundation on Thursday 25-May-2002 and Rs.5016 as the first donation for the temple. With their blessings and guidance along with the devotee’s dedication and help, the temple construction was completed within one year.
Poojyasri Samardha Sadguru Darga Swamy ji and Poojyasri Darga Mataji have guided the devotees to install Dwarakamayi Portrait while the main idol was being sculpted. With their divine guidance on 10-March-2003, a Dwarakamayi portrait was installed in lieu of the main idol and the temple programs were started.
Once the main idol was ready, Poojyasri Samardha Sadguru Darga Swamy and Poojyasri Darga Mataji have decided to do the Vigraha Pratistha of the main Sri Sainath Maharaj idol on 12-May-2003 with Trihanika (3 days Deeksha). Trihanika rituals were done by Brahmasri Machavolu Rajasekhara Sharma and his team. The rituals included Veda Mantrocharana, Bhajans, Homams, etc.
The main idol is 5.5 feet tall and is carved out of a single marble stone. A portion of the Dhuni Agni lit by Shri Sainath Maharaj himself was brought by the devotees with continuous bhajans with the courtesy of Shri Shirdi Sai Sansthan. The Agni was then used to do the Dhuni pratistha at the temple.
With the divine blessings of Poojyasri Samardha Sadguru Darga Swamy and Poojyasri Darga Mataji, the foundation stone for the construction of “Sri Darga Mataji Ananta Kalyana Mandapam” and Dwarakamayi Sainath Maharaj temple was laid on 28-August-2008 and the Kalyana Mandapam was inaugurated on 9-August-2009.
Every brick used for the construction of the Dwarakamayi Sainath Maharaj temple was engraved with “OM SAI” or “SRI SAI” by all the devotees. All the devotees have participated in the construction of the Dwarakamayi temple by digging for the foundation and other activities as part of seva. Poojyasri Samardha Sadguru Darga Swamy with his divine blessings has gifted the devotees the Dwarakamayi idol and the pratistha was done on 7-June-2010.
During the construction of Dwarakamayi temple gopuram, a provision was made to store and preserve the “SAI KOTI” books written by devotees. During the pratistha, a record number of Saikoti books containing 15 crore Sai Namam were stored. Every year during the annual celebrations of the temple, completed Saikoti books during the previous year are added to the existing collection of Saikoti books in the gopuram.
With the constant dedication and devotion of the devotees to the temple in doing daily bhajan’s, Parayan, and meditation in addition to participation in all the 4 Aarthi’s and other pooja activities and all seva programs, the temple has transformed itself into a true spiritual center for SAI TATVA.
